Mr Graham was adjudged guilty of contempt and placed under arrest. The House subsequently accepted his apology and the Speaker having admonished him for his conduct the incident ended.

The Department of Agriculture will send a trial shipment of oranges and pine apples to Vancouver by the Miowera, which calls here shortly, on her first trip in the new service between Canada and Australia.
