SHOOTING.
TIMARU NAYALB V. 0. BATTERY. The match between the Navals and Artillerymen was fired yesterday afternoon on the Patiti Point range,'and resulted in a win for the blue-jacket bby 90 points. The weather was unfavourable for shooting, a strong wind blowing from the S.W., accompanied by some heavy showers. This accounts for the low scoring. Gunn r Gray, 0. Battery, fired very well, scoring 54. The conditions of the range were Banges 200, 3C3 and 400 yards, 5 shots at each, Wimbleton targets and sear-r----ing.
