It is feared that the Austrian and German exports of sheep to France will bo reduced by one-half. Washington, Feb. 4. Many of the Democratic members on the Committee of Ways and Means are in favour of larger reductions in the duties on woollen goods than the Bill introduced by the chairman predicts. Some support a reduction of as much as 40 per cent. The Finance Committee of the Senate la considered certain to report adversely to the free coinage of silver.
