In spite of a proclamation by the authorities a procession was .held at Inniscarthy to-day, to commemorate the death of the “Manchester martyrs.” The police were compelled to charge the crowd and several of the latter were injured. WOOL SALES. The wool sales were opened to-day. 11,000 bales were catalogued. There was a fair attendance, but competition was poor. Merinos averaged to 10 pe r cent., and cross breds 5 per cent, below October closing rales.
