Some months ago the Premier of Victoria wrote to the Governments of the other colonies regarding the suggestion that had been made that they should combine to form a common reading library, corresponding and meeting rooms at the Imperial Institute which is being erected in London, instead of each colony maintaining rooms separately. Replies have been received which show that the Governments of Queensland, New Zealand, South Australia, Tasmania, and Fiji cordially approve of the suggestion. AQUATICS.
