EUROPEAN ARMAMENTS.

(Pbr EIKCTJUC TEI.T5GKAVH—Copyhigbt)

(Pgr Press Association.)

(Received 12.30 p.m., June 13th.)

Buda-Pestu, June 12.

M. Rakovsky, speaking on the Budget in the Delegations, said that it was impossible for Austria-Hungary to keep pace with Germany in the matter of expenditure for military purposes, and ho thought a rupture of the Triple Alliance was a lesser evil than an outbreak of war. He declared that an early increase in the effective peace strength of the army would have to be brought about, for it was impossible for Austria to remain behind other countries in respect of military equipment.
