In the first innings of the Australians against the Marylebone Cricket Club Gregory was not out (23). Barnes took 2 wickets for 52, Martin 4 for 54, Flowers 1 for 15, and Shaddock 2 for 17. Marylebone at the close of the day’s play had lost 6 wickets for 160. Stoddart made 46, Gunn 31, Marchant 24, Flowers 24. Eight thousand people were present. Blackham, who has been suffering from a blow on the cheat, is better, and will probably play against Cambridge University. (Received 4.15 a.m„ June 4th.) June 3. The fielding and bowling of the Australians in the Marylebone match was excellent.
