(By Telegraph,) Going to Farihakato Die NEW PLYMOUTH, Apbil 2. Hone Pihama, the native chief, having expressed a wish to die at Paribaka was conveyed from Oeo there on Monday in an insensible state. There is no report of his death as yet. A Man MissingGRETMOUTH, Apbil 2, An old resident of Nelson Creek disappeared mysteriously a few days ago. The surrounding district has been scoured by search parties in vain. The Bishop of NelsonNELSON, Apbil 2. The Bishop of Nelson was unanimously reelected chairman of tho Education Board. He leaves for Christchurch to-morrow. Embezzlement CHRISTCHURCH, Apbil 2. W. Brooks, formerly Secretary to the Canterbury Siileyurds Company, was committed for trial this morning on two charges of embezzlement.
