The training tracks at Flemington having dried well under the summer sun, Borne good work was done this morning. Tartar got ovor'a mile and a half in excellent style, his time being 2mins 50\soc. Carrington and Finlander went two miles strongly. Melos had a five furlong spurt which he covered comfortably in i min, Ssecs. Correze Ind a similar gallop but fiuished up all abroad. Abercorn beat Dreadnought over six furlongs in 1 min. 23sec. Prelude and Utter only went three furlongs, their time for this short spin being SOgsec. Late last night the bookmakers were loud in their offers to take 600 to 400 about Dreadnought for the Derby. Londsdale and An tarns are both becoming firmer in the betting for the Cup, for which 100 to 10 ia the best offer about either. Carbine and Melos are quoted at 100 to 12.

; Another fine morning, and the track ia becoming terribly hard. Alaaco galloped a mile and three-quarters fast in good style. Masthead covered two and a half miles, finishing fast. Dndu and British Lion went rather more than three miles at half pace, both moving well. Whisker came right away from Liberty in a smart gallop over two miles, and Wakalipu, after going a mile and a-half, beat St. Ma!o over the mile distance. Recluse did long, slow work, in part of which he was accompanied by Cyclone. Sultan was very sore, both before and after a half speed gallop over a mile and a-half.
