For Northern Ports and Sydney, per Mararoa, on Wednesday, 15th inst., at 4.30 p.m. For Northern Ports of New Zealand, per Penguin, on Friday, 17th inst., at 4.30 p.m. For United Kitlgdom, Europe, United States of America, &c .,'via San Francisco, on Friday, 17th inst., as followsßegistered letters, money orders, books and newspapers, at 3.30 p.m. ; ordinary letters, at 4 p.m. ; late fee letters at-the Chief Post-office, till 4.30 p.m., and at the mail van,North express, at 5.5 p.m. [This mail will bo due in London on 24th Jnne.l
Oa and after Monday, 13th inst., mails by trains will close at Titnaru, as follows : —For South (per express) daily at 2.30 p.m., and by other trains as at present. For North (by express) daily at 4.45 p.m. ; for Christchurch and intermediate offices, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, at 6 a.m., and on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, at 11.30 a.m.; for local offices, as far as Ashburton, daily, at 6 a.m. (Signed) Ed.
