Jan. 23—Triton, barque, 737 tons, Eeinecke for Wellington. EXPECTED ARRIVALS. - Omapere s-s., on Saturday. Elderslie s.s„ from Melbourne, early, PROJECTED DEPARTURES. For London —Rangitiki, ship, January ; Ganymede, barque, February; Loweswater, barque, early. HThe ketch Prince Eupert, in ballast, from Lyttelton, arrived at this port late yesterday afternoon to load for the Timaru Milling Company for a North Island port. The s.s. Grafton is due to-morrow from, the ’North. . The barque Triton was towed out early this morning and given a start for Wellington to load there. Wool is coming in so_ slowly that there was a prospect of a long wait for her if she stayed here for a cargo.
