THE WATERLOO CUP.

A THREATENED ACTION. (By Telegraph.) CHRISTCHURCH, Jtjlt 16. Mr Deacon, solicitor for Messrs O’Brien and Butler, owners of John Drumm, has served a notice on Mr T. Quill, Treasurer of the Waterloo Coursing meeting, not to pay the stakes to the owner of Haroun-al-Raschid, as they claim them on the ground that the Judge in the fourth round first awarded the course to John Drumm, and afterwards altered his decision in favour of Haroun-al-Raschid.
