The following are the championship certificates Shorthorns —Best boll of any age, E. Menlove ; best cow or heifer of any age, J. Doans. Polled Angus—Best bull of any age, N.Z. and AL. Company ; best cow or heifer of any age, N.Z. and A.L. Company. Ayrshires—Beet bull of any ago on ground, K. B. Ferguson ; beat cow or heifer, A. and J. MacFarlane. Alderneys—Best bull, Oadzow ; best cow, John Mitchell. In sheep the special prize of £2O for the largest prize-taker was secured by the Hon M. Holmes. Mr Teachemaker took the champion certificate for both ram and ewe in fine combing merinos, Mr Johnston taking the certificate for the best ewe in strong combing. A. Murdoch took both the championships for Leioesters, and the Hon. M. Holmes for Lincolns. In Sontbdowns G. G. Bussell took the championship for rams of any age, and J. Deans for ewes, In fat sheep the principal prizes foil to S. Garfortb. THIS DAT. The Otago agricultural show was continned to-day. The weather keeps fine though a strong breeze is blowing. The attendance is up to the average. The judging of horses is proceeding. In draughts Mr Gardus* Lord Salisbury was adjudged the best entire, beating Mr M. MoNab’g Laird of Kilbride. Mr H. Mitchell gained first prize with his 3-year-old entire No Surrender. It also took first prize at Oamarn. The 2-year-old entires are reckoned a splendid lot. After close competition, first prize was given to Mr T. Stevenson’s Bine Ribbon. In thoroughbreds, Le Loup is Ist, Sir Garnet 2nd, and Gorton 3rd.
