Goss' sawmill was burned down last night. The insurances are:—Standard £650, half reinsured in the Victorian ; Colonial £360, National £5lO, half reinsured in tbe Pbcooix, London and Lancashire £IOO. Four cottages were insured in the Victorian for £SO each. They are damaged to the extent of £75. Goss will lose fully £IOOO over the insurance. In Distress Fort Chalmers, Oct. 12. At the Heads—Sierra Gollona, ship, from Bombay, bound to San Francisco, requiring medical assistance.
