The Bulgarian Difficulty,
Sofia, Oct. 11. The elections for the Grand Scbranja or National Assembly, for the choice of a Prince of Bulgaria, commenced yeaterday throughout all the country. At one place in this city a body of ahundred and fifty peasants, acting under the the initiative of M. Neklindoff, the Russian Consul, attempted to obstruct proceedings. A serious conflict resulted between the adherents of the Begunoy and the supporters of the Consul, and in the male a many persons were wounded. The disturbance is aisnming a serious character. The gendarmerie were called out and the rioters were dispersed. liATEB.
