The Winter Steeplechase Meeting of the Victorian Racing Club was held at Elemiogton to*day. The two principal events resulted as follows Grand National Hurdle Race, a handicap sweepstakes of 10 sots each, 4 ft., with 400 added. The second horse to receive 50 sots and the third horse 25 sovs out of the stake. About three miles. Mr.O. H. T. Hart’s cb h The Agent, 6yrs, list 61b 1 Mr J. P. D. Laurie’s br g Gnardfish, 6yrs, 101 b 81b 2 Mr W. S. Cox’s b h Cockboat, 5 yrs, 9st ... ... 3 Grand National Steeplechase, a handicap sweepstakes of 5 sots each, sft,, with 500 added.
