Bailey with trespassing on bis land in pursuit of game on May 15 was fined 10s and costs as tho prosecutor did not press for a heavy penalty. ASSAULT. A case against R. Johnson, for an alleged throwing of a bucket of nightsoil over one C. A. Lloyd was dismissed, as the information was bad. FEROCIOUS SOG. John Woulfe was charged, on the information of Francis Tethoridge, with

having 1 a dangerous dog in his possession that bit complainant on May 10. Dr Foster, for the prosecution, Mr Lynch for defendant.. After hearing evidence at great length the Bench decided (both parties consenting) that the dog bo destroyed within 24 hours. CIVIL CASES. R. H. Pearpoint v. Chas. Woodman, claim £5 11s 2d. Judgment confessed. R. Taylor v* Hudson, claim £3 13s 6d, for an 1.0. U. Judgment by default for the amount claimed. Duncan v. Jones, claim £1 16s. Judgment for plaintiff for amount claimed. J. Kallaugher v. W. Fox, claim £9 for board and lodging. Judgment by default for amount claimed. B. H. Pearpoint v. J. Reardon, claim £5 12b 6d, (judgment summons). Order made that the amount be paid in instalments of 5s per week, in do fault of one payment one months imprisonment.
