Vessel Supposed Lost

Gisborne, May 29. Anxiety is felt here for the safety of the barque Loclmagar, which left here 142 days ago for London, laden with wool. Nothing has been heard of her since. There was only one passenger on boird, Mr Ralph Arthur.

Found Bead in a Coach* Wellington, May 29. A passenger by the Foxton coach, who got in at Foxton yesterday, was found dead last night when the coach arrived in town. From papers found it is surmised that the deceased is John Wilding who has been engaged as overseer in the Wollington-Manawatu railway construction. He has a daughter, a schoolmistress, in Martin, and it is believed that he has friends in Oamaro. Wilding was on his way to the Wellington hospital. National Bank v- Crammond’s Executors.
