London, May 27,

The boundary of the English protectorate in New Qoinea, which was agreed upon by England and Germany,has been cabled to the Australian Governors.

The Admiralty will supply the Government of New Zealand and New South Wales with ton torpedoes each, of German manufacture, immediately, and will also supply Adelaide, Victoria, and Tasmania with Whitehead torpedoes. Mr Thomas Woolner, R.A., the wellknown sculptor, has completed busts of five English Premiers for the Sydney Art Gallery.
