Consols are unchanged at 99. New Zealand securities—s per cent 10-40 losn has advanced by } to 103} ; 4} per cent 1879-1904 loan has risen }, to-day’s quotation being 102. 4 per cent inscribed stock has fallen to-day’s price being 98}.
The market rate of discount remains at ; the Bank rate is 2} per cent. Colonial breadstuffs, hides and tallow are unchanged. Naval Manoeuvres'
The fleet of ironclads which his been assembled at Portland, under the command of Admiral Hornby, will start immediately for a cruise off the Irish coast. The cruise is said to ba undertaken for the object of elaborating the number of naval manoeuvres for future use.
