June 10—Taiaroa, s.s., 228 tons, Smith, for Dunedin. IMPORTS. In the Taiaroa, N.M. and A. Co., agents : 26 tons general merchandise. For Napier—4oo sacks flour and 250 do oats, Bruce and Co. EXPECTED ARRIVALS. Spray, schooner, from Stewart’s Island, early The Shaw, Savill and Albion Company’s steamer Victory sailed for London from Wellington direct yesterday morning. The barque Aquila has got some of her Home cargo aboard, Sbe will come to the wharf to-morrow or Thursday, and take in the rest. The B.P. liner Mawhera is expected to arrive here to-morrow morning, from Lyttelton, on her way to Camara and Dunedin. The s.s. Taiaroa made her usual trip from Dunedin, this morning. She reports leaving the Dunedin wharf at 5.5 p m. last night, and arriving off Timaru at daylight this morning, having had moderate N.N.W. winds and fine weather on the passage up the coast. She brought very little inward cargo, but is taking away a full cargo of produce, The s.a. Omapere arrived from the South this morning, about 8 o’clock, and was bertherd ahead of the s.s. Taiaroa, at the outer end of the wharf. She brought no inward cargo for this ports but sailed for Lyttelton, Tauranga, Napier, and Auckland, with a full load of tallow, oats, and flour, Bruce and Co. of the Eoyal Flouring Mills, shipping 400 sacks of flour to Napier. She also had two passengers (Messrs J. Orr and E. Griffiths) for the North, and left at UXV pan.
