PORT OP TIMARU. The flagstaff of Timaru is situated in 171 deg 17min. 20seo. East longitude. 44deg. 23min. South latitude. ARRIVED. Jan. 26-Kawatiri, s.s., 288 tons, Smith, from Westport. SAILED. Jan 26—Thurso, barque, 490 tons, Soouller, for Mauritius. IMPORTS. In the Kawatiri, W. Granger and Co., agents : 300 tons coal. Consignees—Locomotive Department; E. Smith ;J. Bruce ; W. Granger and Co. EXPORTS. In the Thurso, W. Evans, agent : 1968 sacks bran, 7076 sacks oats. Shippers W. Evans; 0. W, Turner. EXPECTED ARRIVALS. Omapere, s.s., on Tuesday. Young Dick, schooner, from Newcastle, cl&ily Annie Bow, barquentine, from Newcastle daily „ , Palace, barque, from Newcastle, early Lady Mabel, brigantine, from New York, via Auckland, early . _ . Timaru, s.s., from Sunderland, via Westport, early. The barque Thurso cleared at the Customs, and sailed lor Mauritius this afternoon. She takes a full cargo of 5076 sacks (including 897 sacks shipped at Dunedin) of oats, and 1968 sacks of bran, shipped by Mr W. Evans and Mr C. W. Turner. The Westport Coal Company’s steamer Kawatiri arrived early this from Westport, with a cargo of coals. Bho is expected to finish discharging about six o’clock this evening, and will then sail for Westport direct.
