WESLEYAN CHURCH.

SERVICE OF SONG. The pleasing service of song “ Frankey Vivian” was rendered by the Wesleyan choir last night, Miss L. Ball accom* panying on the organ. The connective readings were given by the Rev Mr Beck. The service was most pleasingly performed, the part singing being really fine. There was only a small attendance. At the conclusion of the service, the Rev Mr Beck, on behalf of the choir, presented Mr Goldsmith with a handsomely bound Bible and hymnbook in token of their regard. Mr Goldsmith, in replying, referred to his long connection, extending over some 16 years, with the choir, and expressed bis regret at having found it necessary to resign. Mr John Jackson then proposed a vote of thanks to the choir, which was very heartily responded to. The pastor then pronounced the Benediction, and the proceedings terminated.
