The Union Company’s steamer Wanaka, which arrived from Lyttelton this morning, took on board 449 bales of wool, shipped by her agents and the Farmers' Co-operative. The wool is to be transhipped into the ship Taranaki, at Port Chalmers. The Star made her usual trip from Duneolin this morning, with a cargo of merchandise. She is taking back wool, &o. The Union Company’s steamer Suva arrived from Dunedin, vifi, Oamaru, this morning. She takes 2000 sacks of wheat to Auckland, shipped by N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency, and then goes to Fiji, having lately been put into that trade.
