New Zealand wheat, 3s fid per bushel; New Zealand oats, 2s fid ; maize, 3s fid ; Sugar Company’s No. 1 pieces, £34 per ton. Freights. Adelaide, Jan. 4. Wheat remains at 4s 3d. The market is easier. Prices at Port Adelaide are firmly maintained, bat those at country stations are out of proportion to Adelaide prices. Flour—town brands, £lO to £lO ss; country do, £9 10s to £9 15s. Freights to London by steamers, 455. Quotations are nominal for charters and engagements. Orders for freights to the Uunited Kingdom from outports are firm, with an upward tendency, at 37s to 40s, bnt charters are quiet.
