The following is the programme of the Taranaki Jockey Club Autumn Meeting to be held on the Ist and 2nd April, 1884: —First day—Maiden Plate, £SO ; Handicap Steeplechase, £6O ; T.J.C. Handicap,£2so; Welcome Stakes, £3O; Novel Race, £25 ; Flying Handicap, £IOO. Second Day Taranaki Derby, £IOO ; Handicap Hurdles, £SO; Hack Hurdles, £10; Autumn Handicap, £150; Nursery Handicap, £4O; District Handicap, £SO ; Consolation, £3O.
