The grounds ou which the suspension is j asked are—That Road Board administration I satisfies present wants; that the expense of a second taxing body is too heavy for the present over-taxed state of the country to bear ; and that the Road Boards are able to overtake all the duties hitherto performed by Council and Road Boards.
