The Wairarapi Agricultural and Pas(oral Sh w is being held here to."ay. Heavy rain fell * arly in the in -mintr tint the weather has now chared up. Laige numb rs of p.-ople are pouring into town from the surrounding country. The show is con-idered equal to (hat of the past year which was the best ever held in tlie district. There are 531 exhibits viz..—horses, 84 ; cattle, 89 ; sheep. 232 ; pigs, 5 ; poultry 15 ; dogs 14, agricultural implements 15, buggies 14, butter 19, cheese 3, bacon 9, leather 1, wool 1, preserved nvat 2, oats 2, Imps 1, tobacco and woohen goods 2. There are 10 entries for the shearing match.
