New Zealand securities remain at yesterday’s quotations. The breads tuffs market is quiet. Adelaide wheat, ex store, is worth 50s, and Hew' Zealand, ditto, 44s to 48s. Adelaide flour, ex store, is quoted at 345. Australian tallow is firm at 44s for beef and 46s for mutton. Shipping* Arrived to-day at Plymouth—Orient Company’s steamship Liguria, from Melbourne (left Melbourne 7th.) [Received April 19, 1883, 1,5 a.m.] West African Troubles. April 18. Intelligence of a disquieting nature has been received from the West African coast, and it is expected that a conflict will ensue between Mr Stanley’s exploring expedition and the French party under Be Brazza in the Congo country. ' Lisbon, April 17. Three Portuguese men-of-war have been ordered to St. Paul Be Loanda, the capital of the Portuguese colony of Angola, on the West African Coast.
