An unanimous vote of confidence in him was passed. Not Diamonds, After All! Christchurch, April 17. All the supposed diamonds submitted to Mr 0. E. Button have failed to stand the oxygen test. Immigration* Dunbdik, April 17. By the outgoing mail, nominations are being forwarded for 155 souls, equal to 13lj statute adults. The emigration officer has been advised that the majority of the immigrants who embarked by the Wild Deer re-embarked by the Caroline which sailed from the Clyde on Feb. 20, for Port Chalmers. Besides the shipwrecked passengers about 60 others pro- ' ceeded by the Caroline,making 235 souls, equal to 213 statute adults.
