Jhe wheat market has maintained the firm tone reported last week, and all really sonnd samples offering find ready buyers at former quotations., Deliveries both by road and rail are now in full swing, quality and condition in most instances fading quite fit for milling or immediate shipping purposes. This is to be attributed to the fact that there are only buyers for prime wheat, and that the threshing machines op to the present have been engaged with that kind only. Nearly all arrivals are purchases, very little going to store on growers Oats continue nr glected especially ordinary feed kind. Barley none offering. Quotations are:—Wheat, prime, 4s2d ; choice Tuscan, 4s 3d ; oats, milling, Is 9d; feed, Is 7d: barley, nominal.
