One inebriate was fined 5s this morning at the B.M. Court, before T. W, Hall, Esq. The annual general meeting of the Timarn Building Society takes place to-night at 7.30 o’clock, in the Oddfellows’ Hall, Sophia street. The telegraph department advised us at 4.4 Q p.m. that communication with Ranjoewangi had been restored at noon to-day. We may therefore expect quite a batch of English and European news to-morrow.
