THE OAMARU MURDER CASE.

[By Telegraph.] ■ Oamaeu, July 19. The murder case, against Alexander Beattie was continued to-day. Evidence was given that prisoner had on the 11th June told a man named Gallic that he had been up to his house on the night of the 10th, and that he found Bis clothing ready for him ; he saw the shirting' made up. Evidence r was also given that Beattie had been : seen, coming down the coal pit gully' where the body was found on ."Wednesday night with a light; that when he got .within 150 Jrards of the main road he blew out the ight and went with the geese.
