Alexandria, Juno 11, The strong ill-feeling ol ! the native population of this city towards tho Europeans manifested itself last evening in an attack by largo bodies of the former upon several parties of English and other residents. In tho affrays which took place, several Europeans wore killed, including the Engineer of 11.M.5. Superb, and many wore wounded including tiro British Consul, who suffered very severe injuries. Tho disturbance was ultimately suppressed

by the|Military being called oat, when order was restored. , June 2, Enqiyrics which have been made into the cause of the meute which occurred in this city on the evening of the 10th instant have elucidated the fact that it originated'frora.a street quarrel between a Greek and an Egyptian, and owing to the strong ill-feeling prevalent in the city against the European residents, the .natives attacked some of the latter who were present, and the disturbance increased until it was found necessary to call out the Military. The statement that the British Consul was seriously wounded during the emeute is fully confirmed, and it has been ascertained that the Italian Consul was also wounded and that 20 persons were killed.
