WANTED, A PARAGON.
The following advertisement appears in a late number of the “ Dubbo Dispatch,” published at an inland town of New Sooth Wales: —“Wanted, a working snperintendent for all classes of stock, man, bird, beast, and fish. He mast be of sober and industrious habits, given neither to grog, tobacco, lying, cursing,or swearing, bis moral habits Al. To be able to lib a flea to a flunkey, be able to plant, prune, or bud any sort of tree or plant, as well as bnild up or pull down ; dig, mow, sow, plough, milk, clean stables, or pig sties, cut and draw firewood, a good hand to drive a team of bullocks, wheel a barrow, to drive a coach. In fact he most have a knowledge of everything required for the good management of the station. What he doesfnot know and is willing to learn, will be taught him for consideration. He must be a good penman, as well as book-keeper. So much the better if he can get up at cock crow, and can lay down when the ben goes to roost. One thing he must not do, is make love to the women, maids, or black gins, without permission from his master. Wages to commerce with sixty (£6O) per annum. I did the above for over nine(9) years, for growls, curses, and kicks. Apply to William Ross Dilga, Nov, 28.”
