PRIZE CHRISTMAS TALE. FIVE GjJINEAS. rpHE PROPRIETORS of this Journal I - beg to offer a Prize of £5 5s for the best - CHRISTMAS TALE. CONDITIONS. 1. —The Story must be written in this Colony, and the plot must be a New Zealand one. 2. It mtist not exceed six columns of this Journal in length. 3. —The MSS. must be in our Office on or before til® 10th.of December next. 4. —The names and addresses of the Competitors must be sent with the Tales, not necessarily for publication, but as guarantees of good faith. 5. —Tlie Prize to be awarded by three Judges, selected by the Proprietors of this Journal. 6. —Each MS. must have a motto, or nom deplume attached. 7. —lntending Competitors must write on one side of the paper only. 8. —Each packet to be addressed to the Editor Saturday Advertiser & Public Opinion Dunedin.
