SMITH AND SMITH, O C T A G.O N, DU N E D I N. The momentous question.— Why is there so much sickness in many of our Colonial towns ? Why, simply because people do not pay proper attention to the ordinary rules of health. Cleanliness is the surest and safest panacea for “ all the ills that flesh is heir to,” and those who take advantage of that Oriental luxury, the TURKISH BATH, need have little fear of contagius or other diseases. The present proprietor of the Turkish Baths, Moray Place, Dunedin, has recently returned from a tour through Europe and America, where he had ample opportunity for observing the beneficial effects of the Turkish Bath, and lie hasmade such improvements in our local institution, as warrants him in stating that for comfort and convenience, it is now second to few similar institutions in the world.
