DUNEDIN GARRICK CLUB.

A meeting of. the members of the above Club was held on Tuesday evening for the purpose of selecting and casting pieces for the first performance. After discussion,. it was decided to produce the sparkling comedy, “ Sink or Swim,” by the well-known author of !t All that glitters is not Gold,” and Marshall’s laughable farce, “As Mad as a Hatter. ” Tlie performance, which will be in aid of the Benevolent Institution, is to take place in about a month, and as the object is a most deserving one, and the cast unusually strong, we may safely venture to anticipate for the new Club an enthusiastic reception. Both pieces will be put into immediate rehearsal, and no pains will be spared to make the entertainment a most enjoyable one.
