Office of the Administrator, 20th April, 1920. It is hereby notified for üblic information that the lamoa Constitution Order will come into force on the Ist day of May, 1920. It is not intended to mark the institution of Civil government with any public celebrations of a national character on the Ist May. It is considered that any flag raising, or other national celebration, should be held on August 30th, "being the anniversary of the day upon which the British was first hoisted over Western Samoa by the Occupying Force. A proposal will be brought before the Legislative Council at one of its first meetings with a view to declaring August 30th a public holiday for the purpose of holding flag raising celebrations. R.
