INSTITUTIONS.

HIGH SCHOOL AND NATIVE TEACHERS* CLASS. Since the last report, five fresh scholars have been added to the school, which now numbers twenty-one. The TeacltOfis’ '’Glass, consisting of seventeen, was recommenced in July. They attend with the boys to instruction in Scripture Reading, Composi ion, Scripture history, Arithmetic, and elementary lessons in Geography and Astronomy; and form a separate class for instruction in Biblical theology, &c. The want of previous preparatory instruction is a great hindrance to their advancement, but we hope this will be remedied as we proceed, and that we shall soon be able to add to their number. We greatly need assistance from Home to enable us to put the institution in efficient operation.
