WELLSFORD SHOW
RECORD SHOW ANTICIPATED
Anticipating a record Show this year, the Executive are making full arrangements to cater for the large entry expected at the Wellsford..' -Show on the 15th March. The liberal benzine allowance for March and April has assured that all will have sufficient benzine to.travel and arrangements can be made for exhibitors, judges, etc., to obtain extra fuel to attend the Show. In addition to the usual large entry of horses from Auckland and the North, the Society has again been fortunate in obtaining the Jersey Club subsidy which will attract many Jersey entries, and the presence of Mr Pierson, extension officer in pig husbandry, who will give a lecture and demonstration, will attract pig breeders. An outstanding exhibit will be that of the Agriculture Dept., which is of absorbing interest to all, whether farmers or not. A feature of the exhibit is a continuous niovie talking picture, showing four very interesting features. Other attractions are described in the Society's advertisement on page 5.
