With the object of assisting the district's Patriotic appeal for funds, the Wark worth Patriotic Comforts Committee is making tin appeal for rags, oltl clothes, etc., which the committee will pack and forward tor disposal in Auckland. The appeal definitely closes on the 14th insfc. and donors are requested to leave their packages of material at the Patriotic shop, Walk worth, on or before that date. ':We have been ashed to mention that all material must be clean and free of metal clips, buttons, etc. Any response residents may make to this appeal—no matter how small —will be welcomed and greatly appreciated.
