Chbismas Fbuht Supply The arrival of a large shipment of bananas from the Islands has ensured that there will be adequate supplies in Auckland for Christmas. Recently shipments have been irregular, and the local market has been rather short, but the Internal Marketing Division made special arrangements for Christmas supplies. The same has been done in the case of oranges, which have been shipped from Jamaica at regular intervals since the season there started. The quantity of local fruit available, however, is not as large as usual.
