Football Meeting

The annual meeting of the Mataicana Football Club was held on Saturday afternoon. There was not a very large attendance, there being counter attractions in other districts. However, indications are for a good

season

The following officers were elected for the ensuing season : —Patron, Mr D. M. Jones; president, Mr W. Sharp; vice-presidents, Messrs E. Harper, W. Home, J. E. Jones, A. Dunning, A. Wilmot, N. Webber, A. Eyton, T. Chitty, J. Chitty, F. Dizon, E. Melville, J. Simonsen, R. Pulham and J. E. Hill; auditor, Mr L. C. Cheeseman; delegates to Union, Messrs T. Chitty and A. Dunning ; secretary, Mr G. Smith ; selectors : senior, Mr D. M. Jones,- junior, Mr T. Chitty; committee, Messrs R. Jones, W. Campbell, J. Harris, G. Smith and R. Harper.
