Acknowledgment of Services.
It is announced by advertisement in this issue that a public reception, in acknowledgment of the national services rendered over a long period of years, is to be tendered to the Rt. Hon. J. G. Coates and Mrs Coates. The function will take the form of a garden party-picnic, and will be held in Selwyn Park.'Dargaville, commencing at 1 p.m.' on Monday, March 2.
All who wish to express their good will to Mr and Mrs Coates are.cordially invited to attend, and ladies are invited to bring baskets. Those who wish to take a practical part in the organisation are asked to get in toucFi -with the nearest committee, or with the convener.
