HOCKEY NOTES.
The Wnrkworth team met ita first defeat thin season on Saturday last when Kaipara Flats gained a victory by 2 goals to 1. Matakana defeated Omaha by 7 goals to 0. Matches for next Saturday are as follows :— Port Albert v. Omaha at Omaha ; Warkworth v. Matakana at Warkworth-; Kaipara Flats a bye. The Warkworth Matakana match starts at 1.30 pm. sharp and players are requested to be on the ground punctually.
