Heavy draught torsos sold at from £28 to £33 10s; medium ditto £18 to £25; light harness horses £6 10s to £17; hacks, £5 to £15. Horse, cart and harness realised £27 10s. ' At Westfield Yards on Saturday fat cattle were yarded in full supply and showed no improvement inprice. Best quality oxen sold to 335, others 27s to 31s per 1001b ; cows and heifers 25s to 30s per 1001b ; steers sold at from £8 10s to £15 10s ; cov.s and heifers £4 10s to £12 ss. Veal calves were yarded in largo numbers and sold at late rates. Heavy vealers selling to £4 14s, medium weight £2 5s to £3, lighter sorts £l 10s to £2 4s, smaller and freshdropped 4s to 255. ■•'■ - Bheep were yarded.in full numbers, and sold at scarcely last week's rates. Best wethers sold at from 28s 6d to 31s 9d, others 23s 9d to 27s ; shorn wethers, not to well fatted, 15s 9d to 18s 3d. A pair of extra heavy wethers prizetakers at Whakatane and Opotiki Shows, realised £3 4s 6d, and were brought by Messrs R. and W. Hellaby Limited. Ewes, heavy weight, 23s ta 27s 6d, others 20s to 22s 9d ; spring lambs were yarded in larger numbers than usual and sold at from 18s to £13s6d. Pigs* were yarded in full numbers, and sold at late rates. Baconers, £2 18s to £3 8s; large porkers, £2.5s to £2 18s; porkers, £1 10s to £2 2s; slips, £1 to 275; weaners, 14s to 18s.
