Tim and his wife on their way to market were accosted by an acquaintance who, after the accustomed greeting-, remarked: "Bedad, Tim, ye'U do well this day seem' hirsilf is goin' -wid yez."
Tim: "Och, yis, tubeshure! Bud we're fur daelin in diffirent lines the day. She'll be on her own hook an' me on moine."
Acquaintance: "Troth, thin, yell both do extrey well, bekaise yell both "be makin' bargains."
Hirsilf: "Thet's roight, Archie. He's fur buyin' young pigs an' Oi'll !;aep the luck pinnies till mesilf."
