MOTION-PICTURE MACHINE FOR THE HOME.

A motion-picture machine, weighingl but 2i> lb. when packed and ready to be earned in a hand case, and only io£ in. high, 17 in. long, and 6 in. wide, when set up for use on a table of any kind, has been especially constructed for the home. It is said to be so simple in operation that a child can handle it after a short course of instruction. It is equipped with a "baby" arc light when it is used in homes electrically wired. anJ a strong white light is projected. A special acetylene generator and lens are provided for use where electricity is unavailable. In the special film used 80 ft. contains as many pictures as 1000 ft. of the film used in theatres, and will give a performance or about 16 mm., a 6ft. picture being thrown on the screen. This is possible, because there are 210 picture* on each foot of film, the pictures being in three rows.
