Two very old settlers hero, the Peri* monae have left and gone toTaranaki, where, I hear they have been left a legacy of native land'
- Their sou Sam will be especially missed owing to his musical ability and readiness to assist whenever possible.' The family was farewelled last Monday and left by Tuesday's boat for Auckland after having lived here over forty years.
